Shrimp with Pasta – Forget What You Know About Wheat(c)

  Kitchen Wisdom Gluten FreeShrimp with Pasta is so quick and easy to make!  Declicious and satisfying, I’m sure you will enjoy !  Great for work nights, serve with a salad or vegetable. 

 

½  pound  Large Shrimp (peeled, raw and deveined)

12  ounces  gluten free Pasta

4  Garlic cloves, finely chopped

¼  cup finely chopped Flat Leaf Italian Parsley

Black Pepper to taste

Crushed Red Pepper to taste

2  tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2  tablespoons White Wine

1  tablespoon Italian grated cheese

 

While pasta water comes to a boil, prepare shrimp and chop garlic and parsley. When pasta is done cooking, drain and put in bowl.  Toss grated cheese and parsley with the pasta, leave aside.

Warm oil in a fry pan.  Add garlic and crushed red pepper. Once the garlic is wilted and about to turn golden, add the shrimp.

When the shrimp start to curl and turn pink, flip them.  About 20 seconds on each side. Add wine to hot pan, allow to simmer for a few moments. Add the shrimp and wine to the pasta. Toss and serve.
